2010 KIDS ARE ALMOST HERE!Cenote Springs Farm is located on prestine land in Florida. The farm is named from the Spanish word "Cenote" meaning sink hole. Wakulla County, Florida hosts the largest natural springs system in the world putting out over 300 million gallons of fresh water a day! What a perfect isolated location to raise Pygora goats.Cenote Springs is the only quality Pygora breeder in Florida offering the finest Registered Pygora Breeders Association (PBA) goats from renowned lineages from very prominent breeders throughout the United States. The summer heat does not seem to affect them or their ability to produce quality fleece. They thrive and prosper at our farm, however we do keep overhead fans on in the summer so their houses will be adequately ventilated. Otherwise, most of the year they play and sleep outside in the moderate temperatures. Currently, we have two prime females ready to kid in the middle of March 2010 who will be looking for good homes. Cherry Vanilla is pregnant now, year before last she gave birth to the most exotic colored caramel kid. Taboo is now one of the best fleece giver in the flock. Taboo is for sale and ready to breed. Her last year's birth picuture is found at the bottom of this page. Devotion is pregnant and will give birth later in March, she is the daugther of Queenie who has a prodigy from both pure Angora and Pygora. If interested, we hope you contact us for up to date pictures of the kids. Centore Springs Farm (pdf) brochure was prepared soon after our pygoras came to live with us. The brochure reviews the basic needs to raise pygoras and gives a simple explanation of the variety of fleece types. My amazingly congenial fleece-bearing pygoras produce delicately soft and attractive fleece in a variety of colors. However, we have sold two of the females Giselle and Queenie since the brochure was published and not all of our Pygoras are shown on this page, because of software problems, but please contact us for update pictures. Allow us to formally introduce each member of our family on the following web pages and learn more about their registered colors, fleece types and heritages. The "Gent's" page shows off our dapper sires. The "Lady's" page profiles our chic does. Soon, the 2010 kids can be seen on the"Kids For Sale" page. Please visit our “Goat Academy” designed both for the beginner to the most experienced in goat husbandry. We strongly urge you to read the “Goat Digestive System” article.
